Memorial bike ride for James Meadow

Friends of late Rocky writer James Meadow will be honoring his memory and spirit with a memorial bike ride from downtown Denver to the Chatfield Reservoir.

Where to meet: Starbucks at REI in LoDo (1416 Platte St., Denver)
Date and time: Saturday, March 21, 10 a.m.

    If you go on the ride, please bring a stone or other memento to leave at the site of the crash at Chatfield Reservoir. The group will leave REI in front of the Starbuck’s soon after fueling up on caffeine. If you are not up for the long ride, please park out at Chatfield and meet the group when they arrive around 11:15 or so. Short of a snowstorm, most of the people that have responded will go on the ride, but prepare for spring weather. Please visit the Pulling for James B. Meadow Facebook site for more updates.
