Library to house Rocky archives

CHICAGO — Archives of the Rocky Mountain News, shut down in February by E.W. Scripps Co., will be housed at the Denver Public Library, the company said Monday.

Scripps said it is finalizing an arrangement with the public library to assume ownership of the voluminous archives, including all digital and print newspaper clips, information files, microfilm, photos, correspondence, books and marketing material.
