"Reporters only see a story that confirm they point of view. That is why news papers are not going to survive."

This is too funny. Do you know how many "why you're falling apart" theories reporters hear every day?

You're biased. You're stupid. The internet. Bloggers. You're liberal. You're Republican. Blah blah blah blah...

Readers have always taken issue with the content of newspapers, for better or worse. That is the POINT of newspapers -- to generate conversation.

Get over yourselves.

The issue with reporters is they have a bias and they deny it bu the readers are smarter now and see the bias slant, and the reporters don't see it. Denying it brings us to question statements like this.
<blockquote cite="For Tony – as with so many other professional, highly principled journalists I’ve worked with.">

Reporters only see a story that confirm they point of view. That is why news papers are not going to survive. The Rocky was less left than the Post is. But claiming to be independent? look at the media fawning over Obama these days while the same reporters railed against Bush.
