Trade Jay Cutler. Now.
No more cell phone calls. No more e-mails. No more text messages. No more drama.
Cutler has been hot and bothered ever since he learned from second-hand sources that new Broncos coach Josh McDaniels engaged in trade talks involving the three-year veteran quarterback.

So much for the Mile High altitude being an asset. After the Broncos choked away a three-game division lead during the NFL season, we’re starting to hear the Nuggets gasping and wheezing in the NBA standings.
Oxygen masks, please.
The Nuggets lost their third straight game, 97-95 to the Houston Rockets Monday night at Pepsi Center. Denver is losing steam while being passed up by Utah and Portland in the Northwest Division.
A sports columnist, a generation before mine, imagined what it would be like if he suddenly died.
“The first day,” said Joe Falls, long a Detroit fixture, “everyone would be sad. ‘Ain’t it awful about old Joe,’ they would say.
“The second day they would sigh and shake their heads and say, ‘You know, I sure miss old Joe’.”
“On the third day they would put down the paper and say, ‘You know, this new guy’s not too bad.”
In my case, there is no new guy, not even a paper. But there is a new world and I will need a few more days to decide if it is not too bad.

This weekend, Coloradan Kurt Reich, a former software engineer-turned-Mr. Mom from Divide, will undertake the biggest challenge of his life when he competes as a rookie in the 2009 Iditarod sled dog race.
Reich is one of two rookie mushers from Colorado. The other is Tom Thurston of Oak Creek. Former Rocky reporter Lynn DeBruin wrote this story. Click here to read more.
ESPN the Network – oops, I’m sorry, The Planet – already has listed on its Web site the Broncos as a possible landing point for former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Terrell Owens.
Owens reportedly has been released by the Cowboys. ESPN.com submits he would be a possible fit for Denver because new head coach Josh McDaniels was able to fit sometimes-volatile WR Randy Moss into a “family” system in New England.
Less than 24 hours after the Rocky Mountain News closed its doors for good, Broncos coach Josh McDaniels all but lost his mind.
Who knew what effect we had on the sanity of young Coach Mickey D?
